33m Ruthmann XS

Ruthmann has added a second XS (Xtra Short) model to its range with the introduction of the 33 metre T 330 XS truck mounted platform.

The latest introduction follows the launch of the 30 metre T 300 XS earlier this year. The T 330 XS features a five section telescopic main boom plus an articulating jib to offer an outreach of 21.75 metres - 600mm more than its predecessor - with a 100kg platform capacity. Its maximum platform capacity has also been increased to 350kg.

Similar to the T 300 XS, the new model is available on a number of Mercedes, MAN or Iveco chassis with gross vehicle weights of between 7.5 and 8.6 tonnes. It also uses the same reduced stowed boom length design to provide a shorter overall vehicle length of 8.43 metres - a saving of up to 400mm compared with its predecessor - as well as a minimum wheelbase of 3.9 metres.

The new model also features the same redesigned superstructure frame which provides weight savings and increased rigidity, while the telescope cylinders are made from high strength fine grain steel. As with the T 300 XS, it features the company’s variable outrigger system used on its TB/TBR series, and can also be supplied with a range of platforms all with 180 degrees platform rotation.
