Latest Valla P&C

Manitex/Valla has launched the new 20 tonne V210R battery powered pick & carry crane with the first one going to UK industrial services company AIS Vanguard.

The V210R tops the company’s latest generation of battery powered pick & carry cranes, which now includes the 3.6 tonne V36R, eight tonne V80R and V110R. It features a 12 metre three section boom plus a three metre hydraulic swingaway extension rated to three tonnes. It can handle its full capacity 1.35 metres in front of the machine and to a height of 7.5 metres. It can also handle eight tonnes at its maximum height and take 3.6 tonnes to its maximum forward reach of 8.15 metres.

The very first Valla V210R has gone to AIS in the UK


Features include remote controls, non-marking tyres, a hydraulic winch and self-levelling forks. It can also be supplied with or without an operators cab, while an optional front outrigger bar increases the maximum capacity to 21 tonnes. Weighing 21,500kg, it offers an overall height and width of approximately two metres and a length of 5.37 metres.

Supplied by UK and Ireland distributor Hird, AIS opted for the optional front outrigger bar, an operators cab and remote controls.

Based in Wigan, Ainscough Industrial Services (AIS) Vanguard specialises in machinery relocation and installation as well as wind turbine installation and maintenance. It operates a fleet of Valla pick & carry cranes from its five locations throughout the UK.
