Multitel moves into Canada

Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has appointed SOS Location as its distributor for Canada.

Based in Longueuil, over the river from the city of Montreal, Quebec, the company was established in 2009 and also distributes, BG spider cranes, Palazzani spider lifts, Almac tracked boom lifts, Dinolift trailer lifts and booms, along with Cela, Imer and Platform Basket spider lifts. It also offers Skyjack, Genie and JLG platforms and telehandlers and runs a local rental fleet.

SOS’s first Multitel truck mount hand over


The first Multitel units - a 27 metre MTE 270 and 16 metre MT 162 telescopics - have already been mounted at the Multitel factory.

Roberto Marangoni of Multitel said: "The partnership with SOS Location allows us to have an already established presence in the Canadian market, and the fact that the company works with other Italian companies has reinforced our choice."
