Schiller is set to move to a more international role as head of global marketing, at the same time Tadano veteran Shinichi Iimura, who has relocated from Tokyo to Houston, will become chief executive and chairman. Schiller will also remain as a director of the US based company, which includes the telescopic crawler crane operation Tadano Mantis.

Shinichi Iimura joined Tadano in 1983 and has worked all over the world for the company since then. He came to prominence in the west when he took over Tadano Faun in 2002, having previously worked with Tadano’s marketing operations in Russia, Africa, Singapore and South and Central America.

Barley is currently vice president of customer service and general manager sales for south and central America, having joined the company in 2019 from Terex Cranes. He began his career in the UK with Benford construction equipment, just before it was acquired by Terex Construction in 1996. He stayed on board as an international service technician and engineer based in the UK. In 2004 he was promoted to product support director. In 2007 he was promoted to senior director aftermarket, and then in 2010 took up his first full sales role as sales director for the Compact Equipment division. By 2012 he had become general manager and moved to the USA.
In 2014 he was appointed as general manager of Terex Cranes in North America. He made the move to Tadano in the summer of 2019 when the Terex crane business in the US was closed and Demag sold to Tadano. His initial role at the company was to manage the separate Demag Americas operation.

Schiller joined the company in 2016 from Manitowoc, initially as executive vice president reporting to Tadano America chief executive Yo Kakinuma, taking over from him eight months later.
