The key aim of this latest acquisition is to strengthen the company’s presence in the north and east of the country. Managing partner Daniel Janssen said: "With this acquisition, we can expand our range of services in northern and eastern Germany and further develop our expertise, especially in the wind power and process industries. The companies are an excellent fit and complement and strengthen each other. An exciting win-win situation for everyone.”

"At Hüffermann, we have a strong focus on machines from renowned manufacturers with state of the art technology, and this will soon be reflected at Thömen. We will invest in the renewal of the fleet and, in connection with this, obtain a new dynamic on the market and for sales. In the crane sector Liebherr plays an important role for us. For the haulage fleet, concrete talks are already being held with MAN and Mercedes."

Stephanie Thömen-Steinfeld and Lars Thömen added: "For the further development of our group of companies we were looking for a partner who shares the same ideas, visions and values. We have found this in the Hüffermann Group. We are convinced that together we will be able to act even more efficiently on the market and that new perspectives will arise. We are now opening a new chapter together and look forward to shaping it together."
