First European built Sinobooms

Sinoboom Europe has received the first units to come off the assembly line at its new production facility in Poznań, Poland.

The first delivery, a batch of slab electric scissor lifts, arrived at the Sinoboom Europe distribution centre in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands last week. They are now going through the usual Pre-Delivery Inspection prior to dispatch to customers.

The new plant is part of Sinoboom’s global strategy to provide products and services with a more localised focus. It is located on a five acre/20,000 square metre plot and features fully automated assembly lines. The first product lines that will be produced include slab electric and Rough Terrain scissor lifts which will be joined by certain models of articulated and telescopic boom lifts. Other products will be added at a later date as market demand dictates. The facility has an ultimate annual production capacity of 20,000 units.

Staff celebrate the shipment of the first European assembled Sinoboom platforms
