The Schünke company is based in Wehr in the Black Forest and was established in 1973 as a tiling company. It entered the general rental market in 1992, adding cranes two years later. It began adding telehandlers in 2010, when it took over the regional Bobcat distribution. In the past five years or so it has made around 10 acquisitions, and now operates from 22 locations. It began buying Magni machines last year.
