Premier moves South

UK rental company Premier Platforms has opened a new Southern depot in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The new location is intended for the growing demand coming from the English ‘Home Counties’ and Greater London. This is the second depot for Premier, the other being in Thirsk, north of Leeds. Head office is in Cannock.

Founder and managing director Leigh Farmer said: “The new location is a modern facility with good yard space and will be ideal for IPAF training in the future. The fleet that we will run from the depot will predominately be electric/hybrid/LPG powered machines which are ideal for low emission projects.”

Premier Platforms was established in 2010 in the Cannock area in the English Midlands, after Leigh Farmer’s non-compete clause with the Lavendon group expired - having sold his first business, Higher Platforms, to Lavendon in 2007.
