LGMG adds to sales team

Chinese aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer LGMG has added another member to its regional sales team appointing Antony Chalissery as regional sales manager for the Middle East and Africa.

Antony Chalissery

He joins LGMG after a short spell as sales manager with Dubai based Case, Still and Manitou distributor Al Shirawi Enterprises. Prior to that he was technical services manager with Terex Middle East for 14 years. He began his career in 1995 as a service manager with Indian Cat dealer GMMCO. Two years later he moved to Oman when he wads appointed as a plant maintenance manager with construction company Desert Line Projects. In 2000 he moved to Arabian Industries as an equipment engineer followed by three year spell with Special Technical Services. In 2003 he to the UAE to join Cat Rental store Al Bahar as a plant engineer, leaving for Terex three and a half years later.

Speaking of his new role Chalissery said: “I am very excited to join the LGMG team. Middle East and African countries are having a high potential for aerial work platforms. We are going to establish an efficient support network across the region and that remains our first priority. With LGMG’s culture of continuous improvement and innovation as well as great production and logistics facilities,
I believe LGMG can fulfil customers’ requirements in the region in a very fast time.”
