New parts director for Vertimac

Belgian international used aerial lift and replacement parts specialist Vertimac has appointed Frank Beernaert as business unit director for its growing replacement parts division.

His responsibilities will include analysing and assessing Vertimac's global market positioning and work to build on its strengths, with a focus on rapid response time and the provision of quality spare parts.

He joins the company after five years with SGF (Thailand), a production and distribution division of SGF, the German vibration absorbing drive trainer coupler manufacturer.
Beernaert began his career as a senior spare parts expediter with CNH (Case New Holland) followed by a promotion to warranty manager. After eight years with CNH, he moved into the automotive industry, joining the Chrysler group as warranty manger, moving up through the company, to become a sales and marketing director in 2005, by which time it had become Daimler Chrysler. After the business was acquired by Fiat in 2008 , he took over P&L responsibility for four of the groups vehicle brands across 18 countries in the CIS, Turkish and CEFTA (Central European Free Trade) regions.

After more than 17 years with Chrysler and various reincarnations, he moved to Thailand to join RMA, an automotive distribution group, where he was appointed sales operation director, in 2013 left for a post as general manager of automotive company EFTEC Thailand. After more than four years in the role he made the move to SGF.
