GIS in pictures

Italian crane and aerial lift exhibition GIS was held last week in Piacenza. The show has grown beyond all expectations since 2019 and was well attended, with the organisers claiming as many as 18,000 visitors, with 432 exhibitors covering more than 70,000 square metres. However, the event is now becoming too large for the Piacenza exhibition centre, in terms of good exhibition space, parking and hotels.
The show had a great skyline which always makes a good first impression

The show attracted around 400 exhibitors, including aerial lift, cranes, heavy transport, telehandler, port handling and component manufacturers as well as rental companies.

The exhibits included dozens of new products and a good few new manufacturers, especially when it comes to mast climber and hoists, new small to mid-range truck mounted lifts, bigger spider lifts, and new pick & carry cranes. There was far too much to cover in one review - even with more than 100 photographs.

We hope here to simply provide a basic overview and impression of the event, and will follow up with coverage of the new products and producers in future stories and in our magazines.
