Dotts moves to Toyota

Alan Dotts has been appointed as manager- aerial work platforms, for Toyota Material Handling which became the sole distributor for Aichi work platforms in March.

Alan Dotts

Dotts has been in aerial lift business for 18 years, having started his career with in 1998 when he joined Aichi America, as product support manager. Four years later he moved to a similar role at Haulotte US, and was promoted to general manager the following year. He left Haulotte to rejoin Aichi USA, in early 2006, this time as general manager.

Toyota owns a controlling interest in Aichi and has helped the company develop and refine its production facilities in Japan.
