Dunham imports FB

Dunham cranes Ltd, a new company established by Alan Dunham, of Dunham brothers (Ramsbottom) Ltd, a construction company and developer based near Burry. Has been appointed as the FB distributor for the UK.

The company has been using self erector tower cranes on its building sites for over 30 years and saw the hire and sales of such equipment as a natural progression. Dunham cranes is based in Tyldesley, near Manchester.

FB Gru, is a tower crane producer based at Valmadrera near Milan, building small city type tower cranes and two ranges of self erectors, including a smaller “compact” range. FB or F.lli Butti s.r.l, (Butti brothers) to give its corporate title, has been building tower cranes for over 50 years and developed its first line of self erectors between 1974 and 1978.

The FB GA Self Erecting tower crane

Dunham cranes is offering a complete hire service, including erection, dismantle and transport and can either provide or train operators along with any lifting accessories required.

Dunham is concentrating his efforts on FB’s GA range of standard self erecting cranes which offer jib lengths of 17metres to 33metres. This largest unit, the GA133 lifts four tonnes to 10 metres or one tonne to 33metres. Dunham claims that the GA1333 is the only crane of its type to use a lattice mast as well as jib. Both of which are fully hot dip galvanised.
