Fangmann expands fleet
German energy and construction conglomerate Fangmann group has taken delivery of a 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1 All Terrain crane for its crane and transport division Fangmann Industrie.
The five-axle LTM 1130-5.1 features a 60 metre main boom and a 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway plus two seven metre extensions, giving a maximum hook height of 91 metres and maximum radius of 72 metres. The crane also features the company’s variable outrigger configuration technology VarioBase.
Nico Macht, Fangmann operations manager, said: “The LTM 1130-5.1 with its 60 metre telescopic boom is a powerful 130 tonne machine which offers great flexibility. And its variable support base provides additional safety and flexibility because space is often very constricted in plants and on sites and there are only very small spaces available for cranes.”

With its headquarters in Salzwedel and a branch in Perleberg, Fangmann Industrie operates a fleet of seven mobile cranes – previously topped by a 100 tonner. The company claims the new crane is now the largest crane in the Altmark and Priegnitz regions.
