Boels confirms three more acquisitions

Dutch international rental company Boels has confirmed the acquisition of three new companies, they include Already Hire in the UK, along with Delta Rent and Amdyte in the Netherlands.

Already Hire is based in Slough with three other locations in the London Area - Heathrow, Tower Bridge and Dartford. The company offers a wide range of products, including light weight aerial lifts and low level access. The move follows the acquisition of Supply UK Hire Shops last April See Boels moves in to the UK the addition of Already Hire takes the company’s UK network to 29 locations.

Delta Rent was established in 1999 and is based in the south west of the Netherlands, where it is active in industrial rental and more specifically in the petrochemical market. The company has also acquired Woudenberg based specialist rental company Amdyte, which it says is the market leader in the rental of temporary fencing.

The three acquisitions add 124 new employees to the group, while expanding its geographic coverage and product portfolio. Which it says helps move it further towards being a true one stop shop in terms of rental.

Chief executive Pierre Boels said: “We are delighted with being able to realise these acquisitions. In addition to the largest network for general rental, we now offer a rapidly growing number of professional specialisations. With this latest move, we are responding to the needs of our customers, who increasingly opt for outsourcing. They do this because it is more efficient, but also because hiring is more sustainable than ownership. Thanks to the one-stop-shopping principle we are pursuing, we can offer them optimal service, giving us an important competitive edge in the market.”
