Growcock joins Harsco Board

Harsco Corporation, the parent company of scaffold and access rental company SGB, has appointed Terry D. Growcock, chairman of Manitowoc to its board of directors, effective January 1, 2008.

Growcock has chaired Manitowoc since October 2002, and served as chief executive officer from 1998 until May 2007. He joined Manitowoc in 1994, having worked for Siebe plc and United Technologies Corporation.

Harsco chairman and chief executive Derek C. Hathaway said, “Terry Growcock’s experienced executive leadership serving diversified, multinational industrial markets further enhances the ongoing strength and global perspective of the Harsco Board.”

Growcock takes the Harsco board membership to 12, of whom nine are non executive directors.
