A beam hugger
Received from a UK based reader, a photograph taken by a rental company delivery driver who went to collect a scissor lift that had been ‘off hired’.

We are not quite sure what the user had in mind here
It took us a few moments to figure out what was going on before it dawned on us what the user had done. Why? Perhaps if he is reading this he might tell us it is a security thing or a way to get a little higher.

it's more like a new unauthorised user deterrent. There is obviously still equipment & materials on the machine plus it's elevated so someone must have climbed out of it whilst it was up. More questions than answers from this pic.
