Dingli Platform Sales UK launches

A new UK distributor for Dingli aerial work platforms, KAM trading as Dingli Platform Sales UK has officially opened for business.

The first machines have just arrived at the company’s Essex depot and will be ready to start shipping out to customers who have ordered them later this week.

Among the machines in the first shipment - alongside the electric slab scissor and mast lifts - is the first Dingli diesel scissor lift in the UK, the 53ft JCPT1823RT, with a 6.55 metre extended double deck platform, 680kg platform capacity, self-levelling stabilisers and Kubota power unit.

The first Dingli diesel RT scissor lift to arrive in the UK

The UK’s first Dingli diesel booms are also due to arrive from the plant in China in the next few weeks.

The new company is run by James Darnley, who has been associated with Dingli for several years, and Philip O’Donnell, both of whom helped man the Dingli stand at Vertikal Days, earlier this year.

Darnley said: “This is an exciting time for us with machines starting to arrive. It has taken a while to put everything in place, but we are now ready to start supplying these outstanding machines in the UK and Ireland.”

O’Donnell added: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the customers and potential customers who have been patient with us while we got ourselves established”.
