Three new booms from Mantall

Chinese aerial lift manufacturer Mantall has announced the introduction of a new mast boom, atrium lift and redesigned articulated boom lift, all of which will be unveiled at Bauma China later this month.

The new 10 metre working height IPM100J mast boom has an overall width of just under a metre, is just under two metres high when stowed and boasts an overall stowed length of 2.7 metres. Maximum outreach is said to be 3.2 metres.

It uses direct DC electric drive for both wheels and hydraulic pumps, and is said to have high operating speeds. A full specification has not yet been issued.

The second new model is a new wheeled atrium/spider lift - the 22 metre HTS220. The narrow machine has an overall weight of 4.2 tonnes, can be driven under its own power when stowed and features a five section straight telescopic boom and DC electric drive with CANbus control system.

Finally, the company has also announced the launch of a completely redesigned 62ft HZ200JRT diesel powered articulating boom, which offers a working height of 20.8 metres with up and over height of nine metres and maximum outreach of 11.5 metres. The new boom uses a two stage sigma type riser, two section telescopic boom and articulating jib.

Available with two or four wheel drive maximum gradeability is 40 percent.

Eric L - I wholly agree with you - The Star 10 is an outstanding machine and its got me out of the cr*p many, many times in the past. Hauloutte must surely worry about how many almost exact copies of it are around now....

It just goes to show how good the Haulotte Star 10 is, when yet another chinese company decides to build a copy. Looks the only thing different is the turret side covers !
