Boom flips in Connecticut
The boom of a crawler crane flipped over the back yesterday and landed on a large power boat in Stamford Harbour Marina in Connecticut, USA.

Pulling a pile catapulted the boom over the back of the crane
The crane, working from a barge, was pulling up a piling which had stuck and then suddenly came free catapulting the boom over the back of the crane. While the crane slipped on the barge it was working from it remained clear of the water and no one was hurt in the incident.

The crane remained on the barge... just
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is investigating.

I feel sorry for the OSHA, the Amarican crane industry are keepin them very busy, hope they get over time.
