Three more for TVH
Belgium based parts group TVH has completed three more acquisitions in the fork truck, tail lift and agricultural market.
German company Latec supplies a wide range of replacement parts for forklifts on an increasingly international basis. Based in Greven, near Munster, North Rhine Westphalia, it was founded in 1972 and acquired by the Schuch family in 1996, since then it has expanded over a wider area and has a strong presence in Poland and Russia. The business has been integrated into TVH.
The second acquisition is French company L3, a specialist supplier of replacement parts for agricultural tractors. Its business roots go back to 1969, but it was officially established in 2007 by the Lecomte family. The company employs around 40 staff at its base in Janzé near Rennes. In the short term the company will continue independently, although the plan is to merge the business with TVH’s other agricultural operations Bepco France and Pividori.
The third company is TLPE - Tail Lift Parts Europe - a start up operation, formed last year, with the aim to supply replacement parts for tail lifts. So far the company has built up a product range running to around 3,000 line items and has been selling across Western Europe and Russia. The business has already been integrated into TVH.
These latest acquisitions follow the recent take over of the IPS parts business in France - see:
IAPS sells French parts business and are part of the group’s ongoing expansion programme.
Roly Round
I wonder if they will have another go at acquiring Lavendon or some other UK access rental company? I think they are already close to being the biggest in Europe.
