First Demag AC300-6 in NZ

McLeod Cranes has taken delivery of the first 300 tonne Tadano/Demag AC300-6 to arrive in New Zealand.

The new AC300-6 in McCloud blue


The new crane was supplied by Allcrane Sales & Services, with technical sales manager Karl Leonard working with McCleod to select the most suitable specification for its requirements. The six axle AC300-6 has a 80 metre main boom and can be fitted with up to 46 metres of extensions to boast a 123 metre tip height.

McLeod Cranes was established in 1995 by Curly McLeod, who passed away in 2012, when Scott McLeod took over. It operates from five locations on North Island - Tauranga, Hamilton, Taupo, Kawerau and Tokoroa.
