Sinoboom’s 53ft Super Deck proves a hit

Sinoboom's UK distributor Pinnacle Platforms has experienced a very positive reaction in the UK to the new 53ft Sinoboom 5389RE Rough Terrain electric scissor lifts, having already delivered units to three well established rental companies, Quick Reach, Ultimate Access Hire and JMS Powered Access, all equipped with 7.4 metre ‘Super Decks’.

The 5389RE has a working height of 18.2 metres, a maximum platform capacity of 680kg /four persons, with both indoor and outdoor ratings. The four wheel drive machine performs as well as diesel versions, in terms of speeds and gradeability and includes standard levelling jacks with ne button automatic levelling. Power comes from German made Hoppecke low maintenance batterie, optimised for faster charging and longer work cycles.

Introduced just over a year ago, the new electric machines began arriving in Europe last summer, and seem to be growing in populartity with end users, as have the big RT electrics offered by other leading manufacturers.

Quick Reach managing director, Rob Dillon said “The latest zero emission machines add extra choice to our growing electric powered lift range., We are especially pleased to be one of the first hirers to be able offer the ‘Super Deck’ configuration. The feedback on the Sinoboom products we have introduced thus far has been first class”.

Ultimate Access Hire co-founder Amarpal Gill said: ”These larger, 5389RE scissor lifts, have been acquired from the demand generated by the existing Sinoboom products in the fleet. Customers prefer the all-electric version, versus the noisier, more costly diesel alternative. With site charging infrastructure improving, they are the ideal solution for urban projects, when working in city centres within clean air zones”.

JMS Powered Access managing director Mark Jackson added: “This is the first Sinoboom machine we have taken for the fleet. We were attracted its ease of operation, battery charge versus run times in addition to the ‘Super Deck’ and immediate availability of the product, which is now out on hire”.
Pinnacle Platforms managing director Tim White said: “We are particularly pleased with the reaction to the ‘Super Deck’ extension on the 5389RE, which provides increased levels of productivity whilst delivering zero emissions, almost silent operation and lower operating costs”.
