Lifterz continues to invest

Lifterz, the Yorkshire, UK, based access rental company has expanded its push around scissor lift fleet.

The company has taken delivery of five Youngman BoSS X3 scissor lifts from distributor APS raising its total BoSS scissor fleet size to 25 units, all of which have been delivered in the past few months.

The company says that business levels have improved and are typical for this time of year. "It was really typical that when I placed our last order with Jim Daintith on his mobile phone he was fishing off the coast of Cuba. I think I was doing a site survey in a cold and damp Grimethorpe in South Yorkshire at the time." said a somewhat envious Malcolm Bowers, director of Lifterz.

Ben Bowers added: "We are experiencing near 100 percent utilisation on the X3's right now. We are also running similar utilisation levels on eight other product lines, which has resulted in further orders being placed and more in the very near future, particularly for electric and bi-energy lifts.”

“We've actually had to say "no" to customers on a couple of occasions recently and whilst I hate doing this it is what is needed in order to gain the confidence to demand better hire rates."
