Fire at Melbourne crane company

A fire broke out over the weekend at the premises of Williamstown Crane Hire in Dohertys Road causing extensive damage.

The Fire at Laverton North occurred in an administration building, destroying
computers and other office equipment. Some premises in the area temporarily stopped work due to the thick smoke emanating from the burning buildings opposite.

It took 25 firemen around 20 minutes to bring the fire under control, we do not know if any cranes were caught in the blaze. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
