Ryan Air adds more powered access

UK based Platform Sales & Hire has sold 10 scissor lifts and two booms lifts to Ryan Air for its new hanger extension in Prestwick, Scotland. The order follows one for a Genie boom and five scissors for its Stanstead base last year.

The order includes 10 JLG 1930Es battery powered electric micro scissor lifts and two Genie Z45/25J articulated boom lifts.

The JLG scissor were particularly appreciated for their extended battery life that comes from the fact that they have direct electric drive.
