100 tonne Grove for Emerson

UK based Emerson Crane Hire has recently added a 100 tonne Grove GMK4100L All Terrain crane to its fleet.

The Dagenham based crane company purchased the four axle unit specifically for its long boom on a compact chassis, given the ever smaller jobs sites in the London area which is its principal market.

Even though the 4100L has a chassis length of just 10.7 metres it boasts a 60 metre main boom, 85 metres of on board tip height with the offsetable swingaway extension.

Emerson Crane Hire's new Grove 4100L

With load charts for five outrigger widths and eight counter weight configurations, the new crane can adapt to a wide variety of jobs and extremely confined areas relative to its size.

In addition to the Grove Emerson has also purchased a 100 tonne five axle Liebherr LTM1100-5.2, two 40 tonne Terex AC40/2 City cranes, two new mini crawler spider cranes and a 31 metre/tonne loader crane.
