Milcon to distribute Snorkel

Snorkel has appointed the new sales company Omniconstruct-Europe, part of the Milcon Group of Holland as the distributor for the Snorkel aerial lift range, primarily for the Netherlands but also with distribution rights for Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungaria, and Rumania where Milcon are already currently active.

The appointment is part of Snorkels plan to return to playing a more active role in the European market (see Mr Snorkel returns, Vertikal.Net archive September 10th 2004) as the business continues to grow under independent ownership.

Omniconstruct placed an initial stock order with Snorkel which included a T126J 40 metre boom lift and a quantity of scissor lifts.

Michèl Van Mill of Milcon, told Vertikal that they already had a number of Snorkels in the Milcon fleet and have been very pleased with the performance, reliability and low cost of operation. Following positive responses from customers to the latest Snorkels they approached Snorkel for the dealership rights for markets in which the Milcon Group already had a presence lading to this weeks announcement.

The first stock units will arrive in Holland in December.
