Weldex in fast track

Scottish based crawler crane rental company Weldex has made it into the UK top 100 fastest growing private equity supported companies.

The company was in 53rd place with 36.6 percent growth a year over the past three years from £7.6 million in 2007 to £14.3 million in 2009.

The company was subject to a £100 million buy-out by Dunedin Capital Partners last year from NVM private equity. The company is still managed by the founding family headed by Dougie McGilvray.

The Buyout Track 100 is published by the Sunday Times in co-operation with Deloitte.
