Mr Plant adds Skyjack
UK based rental company Mr Plant has taken delivery of a large number of new Skyjack electric scissor lifts.
The company says that it is responding to meet growing demand from its London and south eastern area customer base. Mr Plant’s general manager Tony Crawford, said: “We have seen not only increased demand for access products from our customers in recent months but, an increasing emphasis from them on modern, reliable equipment that will show up and work without any form of technical or maintenance input from their perspective.”

“Job sites in London are especially busy places on very tight contract timelines and any form of delay can cause big knock on effects. Not only are we adding more new equipment to our fleet but, we are also adding Thermoil battery treatment to all existing and new products to ensure battery performance and reduce the need for customers to check battery water levels.”
“We all know that our customers don’t check water in batteries for a variety of reasons and we have found that once the Thermoil is added battery attributable machine failures go down dramatically. Our move to whole fleet treatment with Thermoil has been noticed by not only our own staff but customers alike.”
