Sinoboom confirms range expansion

Chinese equipment manufacturer Sinoboom has confirmed that it intends to launch a number of new product ranges next year.

The company, exhibiting at Apex in Maastricht last week, told Vertikal.net that it will launch one new platfroms and two new product ranges over the next nine months including telehandlers.

Sinoboom general manager Xu Hongxia (Susan) said that the first new model will be a four metre platform height self propelled 'push-around type' lift that will be introduced at the end of this year.

In the first quarter of 2012 the company intends to launch its first telehandler - a 3.5 tonne, 13 metre unit. By the end of the second quarter 2012 it hopes to have its first spider lift in production – probably a 13 metre unit – which will be the basis of a four model range.

Sinoboom has already appointed a dealer for Holland, Belguim and Luxembourg – Kranen Bouw – and is actively looking for dealers in other European countries particularly Germany, Italy and Sweden.
The company is currently building a new 200,000 square metre manufacturing facility in China to be completed over three years. The first 66,000 square metre phase is close to completion.
