New delivery vehicle for Prolift

UK based access specialist Prolift of Wellington, Somerset, has taken delivery of its first large delivery vehicle, a 32 tonne Renault.

The eight wheel truck has a number of up to the minute features, including a Shawtrack plant body with active rear wheel sheering and Shawtrak’s latest edge protection system.

Stewart Green Prolift’s operations manager took delivery of the new vehicle from Shawtrack. Managing director Andy Pearson said: “This truck will help us with our continued expansion in the South West and by going for an eight wheeler it helps lesson the environment impact as we can carry more equipment per load. The lorry also has active rear wheel steering to help us get around our rural area”

Andy Pearson established Prolift, which offers both sales, rental and machine refurbishments in early 2010 after leaving Lavendon, which he joined when it acquired A.M.P where he was managing director.
