CNH revenues up 14 percent
CNH the parent of Case and New Holland brand construction and agricultural equipment that includes Case and New Holland telehandlers saw revenues rise to $12.2 billion for 2004, n increase of 14 percent on 2003.
Net income for the full year was $125 million compared to a net loss of $157 million in 2003. The results include restructuring charges, net of tax, of $68 million and $187 million, respectively.
Sales of construction equipment rose by 20 percent to $3.5 billion the largest increase of any of the groups sectors. Geographically North America represented the bulk of the group revenue gains with sales rising by 25 percent.
Case and New Holland telehandlers are designed and produced under an agreement with Manitou.
