Fascan takes on Jekko

Baltimore, Maryland based Fascan International has acquired the Jekko spider and pick & carry crane distribution business of C4 Cranes of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

Fascan distributes Fassi loader cranes throughout the USA via a network of more than 80 dealers, and will have the sole rights to sell Jekko in the USA, while Strongco distributes Jekko in Canada.

Keith Shank of C4 will continue to support Jekko crane sales under the Fascan umbrella, although he will also focus his efforts on his contracting and rental operations. Shank told Vertikal that the move would give Jekko cranes national coverage, adding up to 80 new dealers to C4’s eight location dealer network.

Bernie Faloney, chief executive of Fascan said that the Jekko cranes will fit well alongside the Fassi loader cranes and will provide the company’s dealers with an additional complimentary product line.
