Facelift move into the scissor lift market
Facelift the Hickstead based access rental company that specialises in truck mounted, underbridge, trailer and specialist access has made a move into the mainstream self propelled scissor lift market with the purchase of 30 Skyjack units.

‘The move into scissors was a part of natural progression for us ‘ said Gordon Leicester Managing Director. ‘ We have simply responded to our customers needs. We chose Skyjack because we are in the process of rationalising our suppliers and know Skyjack to be able to fulfil our current and future requirements, and are confident with the Company and their exceptional safety record’.
The order comprised three different models from the SJ111 series of electric scissor lifts, 18 of the 3219, with 7.6m working height, six 3226 units at 9.7metres and six 4632 types, with working heights of up to 11.6metres.

Facelift are one of the strongest UK rental access rental company's in terms of selling and marketing its products and services. As such it has done well with selling and renting specialist niche models. However with more independent rental companies acquiring specialist machines, the move by Facelift into this part of the market was almost inevitable as demand from its customer base for this type of product increased.
