Access Alliance meets
The UK based Access Alliance, a group of independent regional rental companies held its first meeting of 2012 last week at the premises of JLG UK in Manchester. It was fully attended, with Jason Seddon taking the rotating role of chairman.
The meeting kicked off with Alliance business, including: a review of market conditions, with members reporting a positive 2011, while also forecasting the trend to continue in 2012, followed by discussion on subjects such as new members, new depots and the Alliance website.
Presentations were also received from Syrinx- Hire operating system/software and Thermoil battery treatments. JLG also made a number of presentations with a number of senior staff attending included, Wayne Lawson vice president of the European region, sales director Alan Hall, regional account managers Ed Price and Lee Edwards, Jason Beacock country manager, Ron Jackson & Kevin Nesbit operations and product managers. The members also had the opportunity to test and evaluate a range of new JLG products.

Seddon said: “The meeting was very well received by all our members, with a very professional venue that has set the standard for the next meeting in May.”
