LiftSmart to unveil two new ranges

US based portable aluminium material lift manufacturer LiftSmart, will unveil two new lift ranges at next week’s Rental Show in New Orleans with 11 different variants.

The company launched its first product line - the MLC Construction Pro Series – at last year’s Rental show in Las Vegas.

The first new line is the MLI Industrial Pro Series, consisting of eight models ranging from five to 25ft (1.5 to 7.6 metres), with load capacities of up to 1,000 lbs (454 kg). Three of the models will have adjustable flat forks and a width adjusting base, allowing the machine to pass through a single-width doorway, yet also be adjusted wide enough to straddle a full size pallet.

The second new range is the MLM Mini-Pro Series, consisting of three models ranging from 12 to 20ft. (3.3 to 6.1 metres), providing load capacities of up to 700lbs (318 kg), with a stowed height of 62 inches (1.6 metres), these models have been designed with the European market in mind and are easier to transport in smaller vehicles.

The company also plans to introduce three European versions of its original MLC Construction Pro series later this spring. Lift Smart managing director Steve Citron said: “interest has been very high since introducing this line in March of 2011, with numerous enquiries from overseas.”

The company says that it will also introduce several other options and accessories, along with some patent pending innovations.

“One of our core strategies to expand our customer base and market presence is through providing highly compelling products with value-added features and technologies that assist rental operators in generating a higher level of recurring monthly revenues due to increased utilisation” added Citron.

He also hinted that the company might look at adding a line of aerial lift products in the future, most likely portable aluminium models.
