Record year for Ruthmann
German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann has reported sales of €75.7 million for 2011, a new record and 30 percent up on 2010. The company is private and does not issue a full set of results.
Managing director, Rolf Kulawik said: “Our positive developments over recent years has resulted in us achieving record sales and operating profits in 2011. In addition to our TB-series, the new Steiger T 330 and T 285 have definitely contributed to this significant jump in revenues.”
“While many orders came from our core German market, our export figures have also reached the highest levels in our history. Sales to the municipal market have also picked up considerably especially since we acquired Versalift Germany.”
The company says that it will introduce a new product, code named the T 4xx on an 18 tonne chassis at Intermat in Paris, this April and that it will be adding more staff to its German operations, while investing in further environmental and energy-efficient technological advances during 2012.
