JLG 1500SJ for Romania

Romanian rental company Industrial Access has added a 150ft JLG 1500 SJ boom lift to its fleet.

The new boom is the first to arrive in Eastern Europe and only the 27th in Europe, The 1500, which was launched just under a year ago at Conexpo, is based on the manufacturers 1350SJP straight telescopic, but features an additional telescopic articulated jib to extend the platform height to 150ft, giving a maximum working height of over 47 metres.

The new JLG1500SJ arrives with Industrial Access

Chief executive Stefan Ponea said: “The return on investment of this model is expected to be well above the average of the other 800 units in our fleet. We anticipate a return period of three to four years, as opposed to the higher average for other pieces of equipment that can reach up to 10 years. Given the exclusive nature of this purchase in Eastern Europe, the rental rate for this model will be around €12,000 a month, which is some 40 percent higher than the rental price charged for the previous model of the series”.
