More new units for AFI

UK based access rental company AFI-Uplift has purchased a further 58 new aerial lifts as part of a £5 million investment in its fleet.

The first batch of machines to be delivered includes 25 Genie Z30/20N articulated boom lifts, 10 Haulotte Star 10 mast booms and 14 Haulotte Compact 14 slab electric scissor lifts.

The 30ft Genie Z30/20N has an overall width of 1.19 metres and a working height of 11 metres. The even more compact Haulotte Star 10, offers 10 metres of working height, three metres of outreach and weighs 2,575kg. The 1.2 metre wide 40ft platform height, Compact 14 provides 14 metres of working height in the same overall package as a regular 26 or 32ft slab scissor lift.
