Zarges launches Telepod

German-based ladder and mobile tower manufacturer Zarges has launched a telescopic mobile podium – the Telepod – which has three adjustable platform heights 50cm, 75cm and one metre. The platform includes two lockable gates allowing access from both sides and extendable stabilisers which increase stability.

Being erected

The Telepod folds down into a compact size for storage and transportation – fitting in the back of an estate car or van. When folded the Telepod has transport wheels and an extending handrail allowing it to be ‘wheeled’ along like hand luggage. In addition the lightweight design and carry strap also allow the Zarges Telepod to be lifted when necessary for example up or down stairs.

Three working heights are available - 50cm, 75cm and 100cm.

Zarges says the Telepod “combines the benefits of a light and portable design with the safety inherent with a large platform and guardrails. Users can be working at height (from van to insitu) in less than two minutes.”

The podium will be available from May.
