IPS upgrades vans

IPS, the UK-based international supplier of replacement parts and after-sales service has upgraded its mobile parts vans.

The larger Vauxhall Movano L4 vans - which function as a mobile parts delivery service - stock common and fast moving access parts for deliveries into rental companies throughout mainland UK.

With a 1.2 tonne capacity, the Movano can hold more than 400 fast moving items, 25 percent more parts than our previous Ford Transit Jumbo, benefiting the customer through greater choice and improved availability.

The more spacious Vauxhall Movano L4 van

Kevin Shadbolt, operations director at IPS, said: “We needed a capacious, large vehicle for our mobile parts sales vehicles, but fuel efficiency and driver comfort where also key drivers in our decision making. Our drivers cover in excess of 200,000 miles over three years visiting rental depots, so we needed a heavy duty, yet comfortable vehicle – the Movano fits the bill."

The additional space will be hold stocks of multiple manufacturer parts including Genie, UpRight, Snorkel, Pop-Up, Grove and various other manufacturers. A new addition to the product portfolio will be Manitou parts, as IPS were recently appointed authorised parts and service provider for its AWP’s in the UK.
