Wacker Neuson up 6.5%
Compact equipment and telehandler manufacturer Wacker Neuson has issued a preliminary trading statement.
The company will issue its first half results later this week, but says that second quarter revenues were up 6.5 percent, with the America’s growing by 23 percent while Europe improved just two percent. Some of the slower result in Europe was due to the relocation of Wacker Neuson Linz to its new facility in Hörsching, Austria.
Operating profits and margins slipped back however and as a result the company is maintaining its full year revenue forecasts at €1.1 billion, but lowering its margin expectations from 15 to “between 13 and 15 percent”.
