Isoli truck mounts for New Caledonia

Italian manufacturer Isoli has delivered five 14 metre MPT140 articulated truck mounts to New Caledonia.

The new lifts were sold through the Isoli distributor Time France to the New Caledonia Electricity Company. The lifts are mounted on four-wheel drive Land Rover Defender 130’s and have been fitted with a 1,000 volt insulated platforms for the maintenance of overhead power lines. The MPT140 offers 6.3 metres of outreach and a platform capacity of 200kg.

Isoli’s sales director Gabriele Valli said: “This is definitely a niche model that the can be offered to power and telephone companies around the world. The four-wheel drive can be used for the maintenance of power lines that often are in areas difficult to reach from two-wheel drive vehicles.”
