Isoli truck mounts for Congo
Italian manufacturer Isoli has taken an order for 10, 16.5 metre PT165 telescopic truck mounts for Brazzaville, Africa.
The PT165 has nine metres of outreach and an unrestricted platform capacity of 200kg. All 10 units will be mounted on the seven tonne Iveco Daily chassis, which says Isoli, is better suited to bad road conditions carrying materials.
The order was placed by the country’s electrical company which provides power to parts of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi and will be used to improve the disrupted power supply services caused by the recent civil war and poor electricity transmission links.

Isoli’s sales director Gabriele Valli said: “I am pleased that the Congo – a country which is certainly not an industrialised country with high economic resources – has invested in our products. Given the uncertain economic situation in Europe Isoli is proving popular in developing new countries particularly those in Africa.”
