New chairman for LEEA

The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) has announced that Paul Fulcher, operations director of LGH Group plc, has taken over as its chairman.

“Over the next two years as chairman of the LEEA, I plan to continue my efforts to improve safety consciousness throughout the industry and to encourage others to think of the safety implications of continual price cuts and market devaluation”, said Fulcher. “I fell that where lifting is concerned, quality and safety must never suffer, particularly as a result of cost cutting measures.”
