Kestrel, biggest single depot fleet?
Bristol based Kestrel Powered Access Ltd has just taken delivery of 10 new Niftylift HR 12 self propelled boom lifts. The additions lift the fleet to 350 units, all of which are based at the company’s sole location in St Phillips, Bristol.
Financial Director, Colin Stone, claims that the £185,000 investment makes the Kestrel fleet the largest in the UK operating from a single location.
“Contrary to the normal view, we believe that in this particular case, it’s good to have all our eggs in one basket because it enables us to be highly efficient, flexible and to offer the highest standard of personal customer service,” he said.
“We run a top quality hire service with the best people in the industry and our lifts are used by a growing number of companies for a huge range of uses including construction, maintenance, warehouse stock taking, electrical, cleaning and lighting applications,” continued Stone.
