A.M.P Access demerge non powered division

A.M.P Access, the south west based access rental company, has separated its growing non powered access business into a new company called AMP Access Solutions Ltd.

The move is intended to enhance and expand the non powered access activity. AMP Access Solutions Ltd, will focus on the supply of Safety Netting and both Hire and Sale of Alloy Towers, System Scaffolding, Stagings and all associated products. A.M.P partner Paul Onslow has been appointed as managing director of the new company.

Mike Boyle – Chairman of A.M.P Access Ltd said “I am convinced that this somewhat forgotten market shall once again flourish as AMP Access Solutions Ltd, trading from new and spacious premises, under the guidance of Paul Onslow”.

Boyle also announced that Andy Pearson, former Sales Director, has now taken up the new position of Managing Director of A.M.P Access Ltd.

He also said that powered Access is being expanded and now operates from four locations, two sites in Taunton Somerset, one dedicated to Sales and the other dedicated to Hire and Training, with further locations in Poole, Dorset and Liskeard, Cornwall. Full IPAF training is provided from all locations.


A.M.P. Access Ltd remains a member and avid supporter of the Access Link, the national association of indepedent powered access companies.
