AFI in East Midlands move

AFI has moved its East midlands depot from West Hallam to larger premises in Breaston, close to the M1.

The move follows an expansion of the depots fleet, from 85 to over 140 units, the new facility also provides a training centre and hosts AFI Direct, the company’s national central booking office.

Carlo Vinci, regional operations manager said “We had outgrown our previous depot at West Hallam and with healthy utilisation rates the fleet has grown rapidly”

AFI say that the depot relocation is part of the overall expansion of the company which has seen revenues rise from £10.7 million in 2004 to over £16 million in the current fiscal year.
