New HQ for KPL Scaffold

Los Angles based KPL Scaffold, a subsidiary of Chinese scaffold manufacturer Guangdong Youying, has acquired a new North American headquarters in Hemet, California.

Formally owned by trailer/RV manufacturer Skyline, the 18 acre site will become the company’s distribution and custom fabrication headquarters serving the western states of North America. The company expects to take on an additional 15 employees at start-up and more as the business grows.

KPL chief executive Wilson Wu at last weeks opening of the new Hemet facility


General manager Jay Tuuao said: “KPL is looking forward to relocating its operations to Hemet. The large facility will allow us to grow as we expand our business over the next 10 years. We look forward to working with the City and the community to bring new jobs to Hemet and be active members of the business community.”

KPL Scaffold was set up in 2006 as the North American distributor for the Guangdong Youying Group – a Chinese manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of scaffold, including: standard frame scaffolds, Kwikstage, Ringlock and Cuplock System Scaffold along with Aluminum Scaffold, formwork and steel structures. The company has nine subsidiaries around the world and is a member of the American Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA) as well as a member of the China Construction Metal Structure Association (CCMSA).
